MEMIZAN has adapted this website to the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), as well as Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE or LSSI).

Depending on the form filled out by the User in each case, the data may be processed for the following purposes:

ME MIZAN PROJECTS LLC (MEMIZAN) will not accept attempted fake registrations or identity theft of individuals or companies. Providing false information in the registration form will result in the automatic deletion of the User. ME MIZAN PROJECTS LLC reserves the right to verify the information provided by the User through telephone checks.

  • Contact: Personal data provided through the contact form will be processed solely to address your inquiry or request. The information collected is limited to identification and contact data, as well as data related to the nature of your request.
  • Complaints Form: Personal data provided through the form will be processed solely to address your complaint.
  • Returns Form: Personal data provided through the form will be processed for the evaluation and management of the requested return or exchange and the collection of the product if necessary.
  • Other Purposes: The information provided may occasionally be used for:
    • Surveys to improve our services.
    • Managing requests for information, suggestions, and customer complaints for their resolution.

LEGITIMATION

The basis for processing data is the User’s own consent and acceptance in each of the sections where personal information is collected. The User has the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Regarding data processing for commercial purposes via electronic means, in cases where a prior contractual relationship exists between the parties, the communications concern products or services related to those previously requested by the interested party, and the User has been given the possibility to object to the processing of their data by checking a non-pre-marked box, the basis for the processing is based on the provisions of Article 21.2 of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services.

In every commercial communication sent to the interested party, they will be given the possibility to express their opposition to receiving further communications.

These General Conditions regulate the use (including mere access) of the web pages that make up the MEMIZAN website, including the contents and services made available on them. Any person accessing the website, (https://memizan.com/) (“user”), agrees to be bound by the General Conditions in force at any given time on the portal (https://memizan.com/). The website allows for the free creation of a customer account, with a username and password, which can be done by clicking the “Customer Access” button located at the top right of the website homepage, then clicking the “Account Access” and “Register” buttons, providing the data requested in the form. The username will be the email address provided by the user, and the password will be the one chosen by the user, after reading the terms of use, privacy policy, and contracting conditions, and marking the box for reading and acceptance of such terms.

USER COMMITMENTS AND OBLIGATIONS

The user is informed and accepts that access to this website does not, in any way, initiate a commercial relationship with ME MIZAN PROJECTS LLC (MEMIZAN). Thus, the user commits to using the website, its services, and content without contravening current legislation, good faith, and public order.

The personal data communicated by the user to MEMIZAN may be stored in automated databases or otherwise, the ownership of which corresponds exclusively to ME MIZAN PROJECTS LLC, which assumes all technical, organizational, and security measures that guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, and quality of the information contained therein in accordance with the provisions of current data protection regulations. RIGHTS

Access, rectification, portability. To exercise these rights, the User may send an email to manager@memizan.com or send a letter to the following address: Shams Business Center, Media City, Al Messaned, UAE, indicating the changes they wish to exercise.

In cases where you consider that during the data processing by ME MIZAN PROJECTS LLC, your rights regarding data protection have been violated, especially when you have not obtained satisfaction in the exercise of your rights, the User may file a complaint with the competent Data Protection Control Authority.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION PLATFORM

Any dispute arising in connection with our services shall be resolved in accordance with the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and before the competent authorities in the UAE.

INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

By virtue of the provisions of Articles 8 and 32.1, second paragraph, of the Intellectual Property Law, the reproduction, distribution, and public communication, including its making available modality, of all or part of the contents of this website, for commercial purposes, on any support and by any technical means, without the authorization of MEMIZAN, are expressly prohibited.

COMMENT POLICY

On our websites, comments may be allowed to enrich the content and make inquiries.

Comments that are not related to the topics of these websites, or that include defamation, grievances, insults, personal attacks, or lack of respect in general towards the author or other members, will not be accepted. These comments will be deleted by the website administrators.

Comments containing information that is obviously misleading or false, as well as comments containing personal information, such as private addresses or phone numbers, and that violate our data protection policy, will also be deleted.

APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

In general, the relations between MEMIZAN and the users of its telematic services present on this website shall be governed by the laws of São Tomé and Príncipe, and any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of São Tomé and Príncipe.
